From an early career as a gymnast to fine-artist and designer to studies in Capoeira, Dance, Yoga and finally Movement and Meditation, all my work has emphasized body, breath, beauty, comfort, and creativity. Whether teaching Physical Education in High School, Photography in prisons, designing an interior space or teaching Meditation or Yoga, my passion is the same: create an aesthetically pleasing environment that allows people to drop into their minds and bodies to explore, with compassion and curiosity, the full potential of who they can be and what they can do.

This retreat has been a fabulous journey into mind, body and spirit. It is so very important to connect with ourselves and with each other & each part of our experience helped us to do this. I did my Yoga Teacher Training in Bali with Janet Nicol. What an incredible experience. She was an excellent communicator and gave clear insightful instruction on alignment in the body, not to mention was hilarious, making what could have been a dry subject always full of laughter and intrigue. Her in-depth attention to structure of the body has helped me to excel not only my own practice but that of my students. She gave me a sense of confidence that I carry with me.” -Mackenzie, United States

Like I wrote to the “Thank you book” – you made me feel like I am a little princess in paradise! Yoga class were awesome & Janet is the best yoga teacher. You really spoiled me! Thank you for everything! -Gerli, Estonia

It is impossible to summarize my experience in a few words or perhaps words at all. I learned that Yoga is much more than simply a set of physical arrangement, that it can open physical and emotional areas that previously have been dormant – by no means always pleasant but, if one is open in attitude, it is immensely rewarding, they were never simply picturesque experiences, but made one feel closer + more intimate to the environment. Thank you to Janet for creating a space, a place for my/our experience. I will carry this experience with me back home as a source of strength + happiness. -James, Australia
