Hello, old and new friends far and wide across this glorious earth.
Happy New Year!
My short and sweet curated newsletters will now be coming your way every Friday

Best Documentary at the Academy Awards in 2017.
One-word review? Astonishing.

Delicious, and no further comment.
A beautiful yet disturbing story that weaves together family, politics, and race in a potentially not-so-distant future landscape. Ng is also the author of Little Fires Everywhere, which transformed into a fantastic mini-series on Hulu.

The last song I danced to on December 31st, 2022
Miss You- Extended Disco Version by The Dynamics

Family Update
Since my last newsletter (2 years ago?), we moved to Vancouver Island for a glorious year and then back to Ottawa. Twins Myles and Austin (19) are in their first year at Acadia University in Nova Scotia, and Emmet (24) started graduate school at Simon Fraser in British Columbia, meaning Peter and I have transitioned to living without our kids. Peter continues as CEO of Argo, and Carmen, the dog, remains a faithful companion. I have a right knee in severe distress with surgery on the horizon, and I'm writing a book.
